Can your glasses help me see?
Our glasses are designed to enhance vision for people with low sight and peripheral vision loss. Our glasses do require a usable amount of central vision to be of benefit. Our specialist low-sight clinicians can offer expert advice on how our glasses can help you to see more.
Where can I try out the glasses?
OXSIGHT can offer a free demonstration at locations around Britain. Our flagship clinic is located at The Royal National Institute for the Blind in central London and we have approved clinical partners located around Britain. OXSIGHT has a full schedule of regional events and information days in partnership with low sight charities around the UK where you can meet our clinical team and try our products. What are the differences between OXSIGHT Prism™ and OXSIGHT Crystal™?
One difference is the presence of an occluder. OXSIGHT Prism™ has an occluder that blocks light from above, beneath and the sides. The OXSIGHT Crystal™, on the other hand, does not, so it allows for unrestricted peripheral awareness. Additionally, Crystal™ has an optional opaque sunglass shade.

How can I set up a demonstration?
The first step is to complete our simple online consent form. This will allow our clinical team to assess how we may be able to help you or the person you are enquiring for. Once we receive your form, a member of our Customer Care team will contact you and guide you through the whole demonstration process. What kind of activities can I do with the glasses?
Our users report seeing the faces of loved ones, family and colleagues with greater clarity. We have enhanced social occasions, improved users experiences at concerts, cinema or live event and allowed them to see that little bit more during those once in a lifetime experiences. Although the glasses are proving incredibly useful to our customers when they navigating we do recommend they are used while sitting or standing still to prevent any accidents. We have designed our glasses to work in combination with your current mobility training and use of assistive aids.
Is there a delay between OXSIGHT glasses and the real world?
OXSIGHT Prism/Crystal has a delay of about 180 ms which is less than the blink of an eye.
How long does the battery last?
Battery usage and recharge duration is similar to that of a modern mobile phone. The device will last for 2-3 hours of continuous use but this can be extended to 9 hours with use of an external battery pack (not supplied). The controller also features a sleep mode which can dramatically increase battery life.
Where can I buy the glasses?
OXSIGHT glasses are dispensed by our opticians. Before you take home our glasses we will have clinically assessed you and made sure you understand how our glasses can benefit you and how they function. You will have received a free demonstration and a hand-over session with tips on usage and maintenance. Is it covered by an extended guarantee?
Our glasses are covered by a two year manufacturer’s guarantee. The best way to further insure the device for loss, theft or accidental damage is to add it to your own personal or home insurance.
