OXSIGHT started with a clear goal: to help the billion strong worldwide low-vision community overcome their conditions and enjoy the beauty of the visual world as much as people with normal eyesight.

A huge challenge, but by exploring how the brain manages visual information our expert scientists and clinicians were able to produce ground breaking research which laid the foundation for us to develop solutions for sight degeneration caused by glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, myopic degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, retinopathy of prematurity and other degenerative eye diseases.

What started as a research project at the University of Oxford has grown into a global brand of powerful assistive technologies, giving people with visual impairment greater control over their vision, ultimately transforming their lives.

• Advanced Projection Technology – Our smart glasses have robust cameras that stream a live feed into two HD video displays, which, in turn, are projected onto your area of usable vision. The glasses employ colour-rich OLED display, powered by Epson’s projection technology.
• Imperceptible Delay – OXSIGHT glasses have a delay of only 180ms, which is faster than the blink of an eye. It’s unnoticeable and does not interfere with your interactions and the timing of your physical responses.
• Long-Lasting Battery – On continuous use, the batteries last for about 2-3 hours. The glasses have a sleep mode however, which dramatically increases battery life. You can also use an external battery pack which extends battery life up to 9 hours.
